DRYFT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE DRYFT FIRST SERVICE.

Your access to and use of the Dryft First service (“Dryft First”) confirms that you understand, agree to, and accept these Dryft First Terms & Conditions (“Dryft First Terms”). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “Renter,” or “You”) and Dryft Rentals, including any affiliated Dryft brand operators or authorized Dryft licensees (“Dryft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Your participation in Dryft First is also governed by the following documents, which are incorporated by reference:

By enrolling in or using Dryft First, you agree to all terms listed above.


Overview of Dryft First

Dryft First is a premium rental experience offering customers priority service, expedited vehicle preparation, and an enhanced onboarding process. Benefits may include:

  • Faster reservation processing

  • Streamlined pickup and drop-off

  • Priority communication

  • Exclusive Dryft First support

Dryft First availability may vary by location, vehicle class, time of year, and operational capacity.


Reservation Terms

Booking Requirements

To use Dryft First:

  • Reservations must be completed at least 24 hours before pickup.

  • All bookings must be made through official channels:

  • You must meet all standard Dryft rental qualifications, including:

    • Minimum age requirements

    • Valid government-issued driver’s license

    • Compliance with Saskatchewan and Canadian driving regulations

Prepayment

All Dryft First reservations must be prepaid in full at the time of booking.
Applicable Dryft First service fees will be added to the base rental charges.

Service Limitations

Dryft First may not be available:

  • On certain luxury, specialty, or high-demand vehicles

  • During peak travel seasons

  • At non-participating locations

Dryft reserves the right to approve or deny any Dryft First reservation.


Payment Policy

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

Debit cards may be accepted for select vehicle categories, subject to verification and additional requirements.

Cash payments are not accepted for Dryft First reservations.

Security Hold

Dryft will place a pre-authorization hold on your card, which may exceed the estimated rental amount. This covers:

  • Additional mileage

  • Fuel charges

  • Damages

  • Cleaning fees

  • Ticket/toll violations

  • Late return penalties

Currency Notice

All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
You are responsible for any bank fees, FX charges, or international processing fees.


Cancellation, Modifications & Refunds

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel 24+ hours before pickup:
    Full refund minus $50 CAD cancellation fee.

  • Cancel less than 24 hours before pickup:
    Refund minus $150 CAD cancellation fee.

  • No-Shows:
    No refund.

  • Early Returns:
    No refund for unused rental days.

Modifications

Reservation modifications must be made at least 24 hours prior to pickup.
Changes may result in:

  • Price adjustments

  • Additional fees

  • Loss of promotional pricing

Refund Timing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times depend on your bank and may appear as multiple line items.


Vehicle Delivery & Return

Vehicle Delivery

Dryft representatives will provide delivery instructions via your selected communication channel:

  • Email

  • Website chat

  • Social media messaging

You must follow all provided instructions.

Vehicle Return

You must return the vehicle:

  • Directly to an authorized Dryft representative

  • At the agreed time and location

Do NOT:

  • Leave the vehicle unattended

  • Hand keys to unauthorized individuals

  • Drop the vehicle off at a non-designated location

Additional Charges

Extra charges may apply for:

  • Late returns

  • Excessive dirt or smoke smell

  • Pet hair

  • Damage

  • Missing accessories or equipment

Failure to follow proper return procedures may void LDW/insurance protections.


Optional Products & Services

Dryft offers optional add-ons such as:

  • Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)

  • Additional Liability Insurance (ALI)

  • Additional Authorized Drivers

  • GPS / Navigation Units

  • Child Safety Seats

  • Winter Tire Packages (seasonal)

Add-ons must be requested at booking and are subject to availability.


Customer Responsibilities

By using Dryft First, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal and payment information

  • Follow all Canadian traffic regulations

  • Protect the vehicle from damage and misuse

  • Refrain from smoking or vaping in all Dryft vehicles

  • Report any accidents, damage, or theft immediately

  • Return the vehicle in the same condition received (normal wear excluded)

Failure to comply may lead to additional charges, penalties, or suspension of rental privileges.


Limitation of Liability

Dryft is not responsible for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or third-party vendors

  • Mechanical issues not caused by negligence

  • Loss of personal belongings

Dryft’s total liability shall not exceed the total rental amount paid by the customer.


Privacy & Data Protection

Dryft handles your personal data in accordance with the Dryft Privacy Policy and in compliance with Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA.

Your information may be used for:

  • Reservation management

  • Customer support

  • Identity verification

  • Legal or insurance requirements

Dryft does not sell customer data.
